How it works

We support two primary types of trips: bike touring trips along established bike pathways such as the Ohio to Erie Trail (OTET), Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) and C&O Trail, and backcountry adventures that include a mix of gravel roads, forest service trails, and limited single track. Bike tours typically meander through towns and encounter frequent restaurants, gas stations, and services along the way. Backcountry adventures are more remote, often with limited services and more days between towns.

In all cases, riders must supply their own bicycle and bike gear, including helmet, bike lights, and bike bags. Riders must also bring their own camping equipment such as a tent and sleeping bag. We bring the food and detailed trip itineraries. Plus equipment for minor mechanical repairs and first aid gear.

We provide all riders with shuttle service to the start of the ride and daily Supply-and-Gear (SAG) support. Riders can choose to have us shuttle some, or all, of their camping gear to the day’s destination. At camp each evening we will provide hot food and a variety of refreshments. We will have limited bike repair capabilities to handle most (but not all) mechanical issues and also provide daily bike tune-ups for the next day.

We also provide shuttle support for the OTET.
